Development in Salem is guided by the Salem Area Comprehensive Plan. Planning applications have been reviewed for conformance to the Salem Revised Code.

​Planning land use notices

Comments for administrative land use applications and public hearings can be submitted to staff, as identified in the land use notice. Comments for administrative reviews will be evaluated and addressed in the Planning Administrator's decision. For public hearings, comments received prior to the publication of the staff report will be addressed in the staff report; all comments will be submitted to the decision body. The staff report for public hearings will be available seven days prior to the hearing date.
