Visitor parking is available in the north and south lots of the terminal.

Parking rates

You can park for $5 per 24-hour period. Parking is pre-paid in 24-hour time increments.

  • For example, if you purchase one day of parking at 9 a.m., your parking will be valid until 9 a.m. the following day.

The Airport pay station accepts Visa/Master Card credit, debit cards, and prepaid Visa/Master Card credit cards.

Parking pay station

The pay station is operational 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

To operate:

  1. Push the green power button
  2. Select "General Parking" or "Shuttle Parking"

    Note: If parking for the Portland International Airport shuttle, you will be prompted to enter the validation code provided by Groome Transportation

  1. Enter your vehicle license plate
  2. Insert credit card or debit card and follow the on-screen instructions
  3. Select purchase time
  4. Push right arrow to confirm purchase and take your receipt

Note: Your parking payment will be linked to your license plate, you do not need to leave a receipt on your dash.

Groome Transportation shuttle

​Groome Transportation provides bus service from the Salem Municipal Airport to the Portland International Airport.

If you’re using Groome Transportation, you can park for $2 per day. Groome Transportation will provide you a discount code to be used at the parking pay station. The discount will be automatically calculated into the final total charged to the credit/debit card.​
